HEART THEATER
(in collaboration w/Gyroscope Museum Design)1999 steel, fabric, video screen projection system 25’ x 25’ x 40’ high Exploration Place, Wichita, KS A theater integrated into the architecture of the Health Explorers’ Gallery, the screen projection system displays a large scale image as feed-back to the interactive ‘Vivid’ system, which portrays the internal workings of the heart. The large screen mounted on the mezzanine overlooking the ground floor broadcasts the real-time action taking place in the Theater, so that visitors will be attracted to climb up the stairs.
