water, 2 sided 4' dia clock w/neon, aluminum, stainless steel 9' seat diameter at base, 14' h "E" Street Plaza , Davis , CA Davis Parks and Community Services Water pours down the outside diameter of the central column, so that it appears that the clock is held aloft by a column of water. Seating at the base surrounds the column and provides a cooling perch in weather that reaches 106 degrees in summer. At night the clock face glows with a turquoise light. CLEPSYDRA (water clock) becomes the focal point of "E" Street Plaza , creating a 'town center' for this very active downtown district of Davis, CA.
